I would be remiss if I did not include one more person to give credit to. If it hadn’t been for Wulf Moon, I wouldn’t be a published writer. Wulf and I have been friends for a very long time, over 25 years now. We’ve both struggled to find time for our writing, and have been an encouragement to each other through those trials. I watched Wulf’s tenacity as he produced and submitted story after story to Writer’s of the Future. When he finally took second place in WotF in 2018, I about flipped my lid. I ran around the house cheering and jumping. It was a triumph that I had been hoping and praying for. I don’t think I have ever witnessed anyone work as hard as he has. He had some crippling family health issues through the years that certainly slowed him down, but he is a clear example of why you should NEVER give up.
Wulf is an amazing award-winning writer, and has only improved on his craft over the years. He is also an artist, writing teacher and narrator. One day Wulf wrote to me and said, “Why don’t you take some classes from Dave Farland. He is a terrific writing teacher.” …. and a epic writing journey began.
You can find out more about Moon here. He is a soulful, kind and generous man. He loves music, cooking, and cats, and he will help anyone in need of improving their writing skills. He gives classes and has written books on the subject. Look him up!
I am very thankful and honored to be considered his friend.
